Terms of use
Effective from: 19 October 2026. This is a translation for convenience; in case of discrepancy the Slovenian version prevails.
1. General
These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the delaj.si web portal (the “Portal”). The Portal is operated by Nodiver d.o.o., Cesta Zore Perello-Godina 2, 6000 Koper, Slovenia, registration number 9837825000, VAT ID SI16780361 (the “Operator”). Contact: info@delaj.si.
By registering or using the Portal you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Portal.
2. Definitions
- Candidate – a natural person looking for employment or work on the Portal.
- Employer – a legal entity or sole trader who publishes job ads or searches for candidates on the Portal.
- Job ad – a publication of a vacancy or work.
- Promotion – a paid service displaying a job ad in particularly visible places (A, B, C) for a chosen number of days.
- Candidate database – a paid service for employers giving access to the profiles of candidates who have chosen to be visible.
- Annual subscription: unlimited simultaneously active job ads for 12 months. The price is stated per month and paid in advance for the whole year. The subscription does not renew automatically; an extension is added to any remaining period. After it ends, published ads stay visible until they expire and regular prices apply to new ads.
- Employment agencies: an agency that registers while the offer is valid receives a free subscription for 12 months from registration, then a 50% discount on the annual subscription for 12 months, then the regular price. The offer cannot be exchanged for money and is not transferable; the Operator may end it for new registrations at any time. Agencies may import job ads from an XML file; the agency is responsible for the truthfulness, legality and compliance of imported ads with employment law.
- Credit – funds prepaid to an employer’s account and used for Portal services.
3. Registration and user account
A user account is required to apply for a job, publish a job ad or use the candidate database. Users must be at least 15 years old. You must provide true information when registering and keep it up to date. Employers provide the company’s tax number when registering; one account is allowed per company unless otherwise agreed with the Operator.
You are responsible for the security of your password and for all activity in your account. Notify us immediately of any suspected misuse. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings.
4. Candidates
- Using the Portal is free of charge for candidates.
- Candidates can upload a CV (PDF, DOC or DOCX) and/or fill in an online CV, and choose what to send with each application.
- By submitting an application, the candidate expressly requests the Portal to forward their data and CV to the chosen employer for that recruitment procedure. Applications are deleted automatically 180 days after submission.
- Visibility in the candidate database is voluntary and can be switched on or off at any time. When it is on, employers with database access can see the candidate’s online CV without email address and phone number and can send a job offer through the Portal.
- A candidate can block an individual employer; they will then no longer receive messages or offers from that employer.
5. Employers and job ads
- An employer can have one active job ad free of charge. Each additional simultaneously active job ad is charged according to the current price list. A job ad is active for 30 days or until the application deadline, whichever is shorter.
- A job ad must be genuine, relate to an actual vacancy or work and state a (gross) salary range.
- Before each publication, the employer or the person entering the job ad declares that the information is true and accurate and that they are authorised to publish the job ad on behalf of the named employer. The employer is solely responsible for the content of the job ad, its accuracy and its compliance with the law. The employer indemnifies the Operator against all third-party claims arising from the content of its job ads or messages, including the costs of proceedings.
- Job ads must comply with the Slovenian Employment Relationships Act (ZDR-1): a vacancy may not be advertised only for men or only for women, unless a particular sex is an essential and decisive requirement for the work, and may not contain requirements regarding age, nationality, health, family status, religion, sexual orientation or other personal circumstances that are not necessary for the work.
- Job ads are prohibited if they: require candidates to pay or buy something; offer work contrary to the law (e.g. undeclared work); are pyramid or chain schemes; are misleading about the employer, pay or nature of the work; contain offensive or unlawful content.
- The Operator may review job ads before publication and may remove a job ad or disable an account that breaches these Terms or the law, without refund.
- The employer is an independent controller of the candidates’ personal data it receives through applications or the candidate database. It may use them only for the recruitment procedure or a job offer, must protect them in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and delete them after the procedure ends. Copying, exporting or passing the data to third parties is prohibited.
6. Paid services and prices
Current prices and service descriptions are published on the Pricing page. Prices are in euros and include VAT (22%); the final amount is shown in the basket before payment. The Operator issues an invoice upon payment.
- Promotions A, B and C are purchased for a chosen number of days. The number of slots per level is limited. If a level is full at the time of purchase, the promotion is queued automatically and starts when a slot becomes available; the expected start is shown before purchase. Promoted job ads are displayed in random order.
- Add-ons (bump to top, URGENT badge, colour highlight) are valid until the job ad expires.
- Candidate database: monthly access (30 days) or annual access (365 days). Access does not renew automatically. An extension is added to any remaining access.
- Credit is paid through the checkout and used for Portal services. It cannot be exchanged for cash and bears no interest. Unused credit is refunded on request when the account is closed, less any bonus received.
- Launch offer: the first 50 companies (by tax number) receive 7 days of promotion A, B and C free of charge with their first job ad; the queue also applies to these promotions. The offer cannot be exchanged for money and the Operator may end it at any time.
Paid services are intended for employers ordering them in the course of their business. A service starts immediately after payment (or at the start of the purchased period); no refund is possible once it has started, unless the service could not be provided for reasons on the Operator’s side. If the Operator removes a job ad for breach of these Terms, the payment for the promotion is not refunded.
7. Messages
Messages between candidates and employers are sent through the Portal. The candidate’s email address and phone number are not shown; the candidate shares contact details only if they wish. Sending unsolicited, offensive or advertising messages that are not job offers is prohibited. The Operator may limit the number of messages and offers and disable accounts in case of breaches.
8. Imported job ads
In addition to job ads published by employers themselves, the Portal displays job ads imported automatically from publicly available sources (e.g. GOV.SI, EU Careers, Arbeitnow). The source is stated for each such job ad; only basic facts and a link to the original are shown, the conditions and deadlines of the original publication apply, and applications are made at the original source.
The Operator does not create or check imported job ads. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for their content, accuracy, completeness, timeliness or lawfulness, nor for any consequences arising from their use or reliance on them, including applying for a job. Please check the details at the original source before applying.
Anyone who does not want a job ad to be shown on the Portal (an employer, authority, rights holder or other entitled person) can write to info@delaj.si. We will remove the job ad within one working day at the latest and will not import it again. More on the About imported job ads page.
9. Intellectual property
The design, software, trademark and database of the Portal belong to the Operator. Automated harvesting (“scraping”), copying or re-use of job ads or profiles from the Portal without the Operator’s written permission is prohibited. By publishing a job ad or profile, the user allows the Operator to display the content on the Portal and pass it to job search engines (e.g. Google for Jobs).
10. Liability
The Operator provides a technical platform and is not a party to the relationships between candidates and employers. The content of job ads, profiles and messages is entered by users, who are responsible for it; the Operator does not check it in advance and is not liable for it, but removes unlawful content once notified. The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy of job ads and profiles, the outcome of recruitment procedures or the conclusion of employment. The Operator strives for uninterrupted operation of the Portal but is not liable for damage caused by temporary unavailability, unless caused by its intent or gross negligence.
11. Termination
Users can delete their account at any time. The Operator may temporarily or permanently disable an account if the user breaches these Terms or the law. Deleting an account deletes the user’s profile, CV, applications and messages; payment invoices are kept as required by law.
12. Changes to the Terms
The Operator may change these Terms. Registered users are notified of material changes by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Portal after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Complaints and disputes
We accept complaints at info@delaj.si and reply within 8 working days. Disputes are resolved amicably where possible. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia; the competent court in Koper has jurisdiction. Consumers may also turn to out-of-court consumer dispute resolution providers published on the website of the Slovenian ministry responsible for the economy.
